Maasai Girl makes headlines

Just a few months ago Teriano, a Maasai girl who is currently undertaking a master's degree programme at Ryerson University, Toronto City, in Canada made headlines when she became the first Maasai to graduate from the university.
Teriano you attention seeker you! brought her parents along to the graduation with their maasai attire.It was an instant hit...boom to headlines on papers, Tv, Radio!

This saw the story being picked by about ten newspapers, radio and television stations, including the Toronto Star, on June 6 this year. Despite the university being the smallest in Toronto and basically urban situated, it attracted the attention of the Toronto community, including that of the university President, Shaldon Levy, who promised to go to Teriano's village on August 25, to hold another convocation for the hilarious Maasai girl.
