Youngest MP in East Africa

Uganda just might be the first country to have a teenager in their parliament...Chick is 19!
At the age of 19, NRM's Proscovia Alengot Oromait becomes Uganda's youngest MP ever after she was declared winner of the Usuk county by-election.
The final result that was announced just before midnight Wednesday revealed that the youthful political newcomer had beaten eight other candidates to the vacant seat.
Alengot now takes on a position previously held by her late father, Michael Oromait who is said to have died of natural causes in July this year.[AllAfrica]
