Van Heusen: Lead Lady

One of my favorite Fashion Campaigns
The Print Ad titled Van Heusen Four, Van Heusen in India. It was released in June 2007.

It Reads:
Once they said there were places girls dont go to, to sports fields, to cockpits, to foreign colleges, to army barracks, to newsrooms, to unchaperoned holidays, to the top man's jobs, to boxing rings, to catastrophe ridden places, to single motherhood clubs, to pubs, to outer space, to a home of their own, to corner rooms, to self-rented apartments, to a four-wheel driver seat, to the first seat in the row.

Boy, I must have lost my way.

It reads:
When I was Young, they told me to sit straight, to sit still, to sit in a corner, to sit with my legs crossed, to sit demurely, to sit with my shoulders squared, to sit with my chest out, to sit with my head down,  to sit quietly, to sit as not to attrack attention, to sit with the girls, to sit in a row, to sit in the back seat, to sit and not stand, to sit because others were sitting, to sit and just listen.

Now, Nobody sit till I do.

Lead Lady.

It reads;

A Look can say a million words or be completely silent, a look can measure a look can bring down to size, a look can mystify. A look can reveal ll a look can put someone on a pedestal a look can pull kingdoms down a look can empower a look can crush, a look can nurture, a look can kill, a look can be deceptive or be brutally honest a look can stun and make the world stop and look..

What look are you wearing this season.

It Reads:

Corners were where you were sent when you were punished,when you were shy when you liked being in the shadows when you didnt want to be in the centre or in front, when you were scared to be anywhere else when there was no other place left when you arrived too late when the best seats were already reserved when you didnt want to raise your hand, when you wanted to hide away from the world's gaze.

Now. The Corner is the centre.

It reads;
It isnt just the stringly stilletos that make me feel taller its the pink bag on my arm that I'm not afraid to carry off because its too pink, its the restlessness in my bones, that this fast paced life could do with a little speeding up, The knowing in my well toned gut that I can Conquer all, If i want to Conquer all at all, The number of names in my Diary that say I have a Day packed with Challenges, The look  in my eyes thats Pinned on where I'm going, The square in my shoulders, that arent proud to bend, the witty one liner on my lips

Thats another two inches
